Chestnut Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA seeks a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the skilled nursing community with compassion and accountability. You will guide department heads, oversee regulatory and financial performance, and cultivate an environment where residents, families, and staff flourish.

The role requires a proven SNF/LTC leadership background, strong regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to resident-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Home Administrator license is required.
• Proven leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC).
• Strong working knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Financial acumen and operational management experience.
• Leadership approach grounded in integrity, compassion, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily facility operations in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and interdisciplinary teams.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, employee engagement, and excellence.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels and conduct rounds to support care quality and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain survey readiness, oversee Plans of Correction, and ensure HIPAA, infection control, life safety, and regulatory standards compliance.
• Review incident reports and support proactive prevention and performance improvement initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting, billing, reimbursement, payroll, financial reporting, and fiscal controls.
• Build strong relationships with residents and families and support admissions and facility tours.
• Represent the facility professionally in community and industry activities.
• Support marketing and public relations initiatives.
