Job summary

The Florida Panthers are seeking an Assistant Production Manager to support the Director of Production across all areas of production operations for concerts and private events at the FTL War Memorial. This role covers day-to-day workload and provides split-shift coverage for load-in and load-out operations to ensure seamless event execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field is required.
• 3 years of experience in venues, concert production, and/or event management.
• Working knowledge of rigging, sound, lighting, and video.
• CAD drawing programs such as AutoCAD and/or VectorWorks are preferred.
• Hard working with the ability to multi-task and work long hours including weekends.
• Passion to work in the live entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong working knowledge of production, sound, lighting, video, rigging and venue operations to support the Director of Production.
• Independently manage load-in or load-out operations on event days, coordinating crew, equipment, and logistics.
• Coordinate technical requirements and logistics for concerts and private events with vendors and internal teams.
• Assist in tracking event production budgets and expenditures; prepare budget recaps and estimates.
• Collect and organize invoices and submit them for review and processing.
• Prepare and organize documents for settlement in coordination with finance.
