Job summary

YWCA Seattle King Snohomish is seeking an Apartment Manager to oversee LIHTC‑funded affordable housing at Family Village Redmond and Passage Point. This on‑site role focuses on lease compliance, property standards, and resident services, ensuring safety and well‑being.

The position requires coordinating with maintenance, asset management, and resident services, with strong emphasis on equity, trauma‑informed care, and social justice values within a multi‑unit setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of direct property or apartment management experience in a multi‑unit setting with leasing compliance duties.
• Comprehensive understanding of public housing regulations (Hud, Home, Section 8).
• Willingness to obtain LIHTC certification within six months of hire.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure LIHTC compliance, including income certifications and annual recertifications.
• Maintain tenant files and documentation.
• Submit LIHTC documentation to FIRMA within required timeframes.
• Partner with asset management on audits and monitoring responses.
• Oversee lease obligations and LIHTC program adherence at two properties.
• Coordinate maintenance coordination and on-site resident support.
• Oversee day‑to‑day leasing operations and rent collection.
• Engage residents and connect them with needed services.
