Job summary

YWCA Seattle King Snohomish is seeking an Apartment Manager to oversee LIHTC‑funded affordable housing at Family Village Redmond (20 units) and Passage Point (44 units). This on‑site role focuses on lease compliance, property standards, and responsive resident services under the Associate Director of Permanent Housing.

The position is 100% on‑site with no remote option, demanding trauma‑informed leadership and strong collaboration with maintenance, case managers, and the centralized applications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of direct property or apartment management experience in a multi‑unit setting with leasing compliance duties.
• Comprehensive understanding of public housing regulations (Hud, Home, Section 8).
• Willingness to obtain LIHTC certification within six months of hire.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• LIHTC Compliance & File Management: ensure income certifications, asset verification, lease agreements, and recertifications.
• Lease non‑compliance addressed in a trauma‑informed manner.
• Maintenance & Property Oversight: supervise repairs, unit turnovers, and upkeep at two properties.
• Leasing & Occupancy Management: oversee applications, rent collection, and inspections.
• Resident Engagement: act as on‑site contact, foster safe communities, connect residents with resources.
• Financial Support & Data Entry: enter occupancy data in Yardi and transmit payments to Finance.
