Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Counselor for a full-time, on-site role at one of its campuses. You will lead one-hour life-skills workshops, conduct ongoing 1:1 motivation sessions, and monitor progress with Coachbot analytics.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years with K-8 students, plus a proven ability to maintain high standards. Relocation support is provided for eligible campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years working directly with K-8 students: teaching, tutoring, coaching, or youth program work.
• Comfortable letting adaptive learning software deliver instruction while you coach.
• Strong record of high achievement and ability to hold a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking and feedback.
• Run daily 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions using Coachbot analytics.
• Administer and re-coach after the Test2Pass mastery assessment.
• Adapt workshop playbook to land with both a kindergartener and an 8th grader.
• Be the trusted adult who maintains high standards and supports student growth.
