Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Level 1 Systems Administrator to support a government contract on-site in Oklahoma City, OK. The role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.

You will work a 9/80 schedule, with pay of 22–24 USD per hour on a W2 contract basis. Responsibilities include installing and configuring multiplatform systems, maintaining AD/Windows/Linux/VMware, and ensuring security policies and access controls.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience with AD, Windows Server & Desktop, some Linux, and server hardware.
• CompTIA Security+ certification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, configuration and relocation for computing delivery systems.
• Maintains multiplatform hardware and software components (AD/Windows/Linux/VMware).
• Troubleshoots complex issues and conducts root cause analysis.
• Monitors system access, security controls, and network equipment.
• Provides restoration support with minimal business disruption.
