Job summary

Long Wave, Inc. is seeking a Software Systems Administrator to join the Security - IT team in Oklahoma City.

You will support migration, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise applications, coordinating with infrastructure, vendor, and database teams to ensure smooth operations and robust security controls. The role requires CompTIA Security+ certification and extensive experience with Windows/Linux servers, AD, and enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Requires CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• 4+ years of computing administration including Active Directory design, deployment and support.
• 3+ years deploying, administering, migrating, or operating enterprise applications.
• 3+ years supporting COTS or custom software applications.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience with AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and core services.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, configure, and sustain applications within corporate environments.
• Perform readiness assessments, migration planning, cutover, and rollback coordination.
• Support installation, integration, upgrades, patching, and release management.
• Troubleshoot hosting, performance, availability, and integrations issues.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, platform, database, and vendors to meet objectives.
• Support data/storage migrations and environment transitions.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures, monitoring, and upgrade plans.
• Evaluate hosting models including VMs, containers, and hybrid architectures.
• Maintain system documentation and security/compliance reporting.
• Participate in planning of new systems and migrations while ensuring best practices.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and stay current on cybersecurity trends.
