Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Case Manager in Training to support the law firm’s day-to-day operations and assist the legal team. The role offers a path to grow into a full Case Manager position, leveraging clinical-like organization and problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• 1 year of experience in the legal field is a plus.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Extensive computer and database expertise, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing at least 35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Assist case managers and attorneys with organizing, filing, and maintaining client files up to 100+ cases.
• Collect check requests for medical records, accident reports, driving records, and vehicle ownership and submit for processing.
• Copy documents and demand packages as requested.
• Complete certified mail cards and mail documents and cost checks as requested.
• Perform general office duties and sort mail.
• Create new and existing client folders.
• Prepare and send turndowns and no representation letters, contracts, and multi-party letters.
• Send out demand letters.
• Perform other related duties to meet business needs.
