Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join the Village Place Apartments team in Romeoville, IL. You will present community information to prospective renters, answer calls and emails, process applications, and help prepare leases to ensure a smooth move-in experience.

The role requires prior sales or customer service experience, familiarity with property management software (Yardi Voyager) and Microsoft Office, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or customer service experience is required.
• Experience in multi-family property management is preferred.
• Previous leasing experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience using Yardi Voyager or related property management software is preferred.
• Maintain a professional appearance following dress code.
• Must be flexible with work schedule; weekend hours may be assigned.
• Have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Present community information to prospective renters to meet their needs.
• Provide accurate information on features of the community and surrounding area.
• Build rapport with potential residents via phone and email communications.
• Process applications for prospective residents and follow up to maintain communication.
• Prepare lease contracts and other required documents.
• Coordinate residents moving in and out, documenting events and notifying departments.
• Address resident complaints and help develop solutions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by manager.
