Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-6 months related training/experience or combination of education and experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to read, speak and understand English for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Showing apartments to rental prospects and selling the positive aspects of the property.
• Assisting the manager with training of new leasing personnel.
• Overseeing all leasing efforts and responding to inquiries via I Love Leasing.
• Knowing and updating competitors’ pricing/specials.
• Ordering property and office supplies as needed.
• Maintaining property occupancy expectations.
• Ensuring residents qualify for residency under company standards.
• Retaining residents by providing swift and courteous customer service.
• Communicating rent increases at lease expiration or renewal.
• Receiving and resolving resident complaints.
• Updating unit statuses for move-ins.
• Updating daily property activity via Yardi and Rent Café.
• Coordinating service requests with maintenance staff.
• Walking property daily for appearance and safety.
• Posting rent and making daily deposits.
• Preparing reports (AME, Bonus Summaries, Narratives).
• Processing court documents for delinquent rent/evictions when needed.
• Processing paperwork when a resident vacates.
