Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for multifamily communities. This on-site role requires leadership to supervise maintenance staff, maintain property systems, and deliver high resident satisfaction.

The position emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, budgeting awareness, and strong coordination with the Property Manager to ensure timely service requests and 24/7 on-call coverage. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or a related field.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills to manage staff and daily operations.
• Proficient in property management software such as OneSite and/or Yardi, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills for resident, vendor, and staff interaction.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Required CPO & HVAC certifications.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, including weekends, with rotating on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations and ensure timely completion of service requests.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff to promote a safety-first culture.
• Coordinate with external vendors and manage the property maintenance budget.
• Maintain accurate records for leases, inspections, and permits.
• Promote exceptional customer service and resident satisfaction.
