Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for a multifamily community. You will supervise maintenance staff, ensure safety, and maintain property quality while performing hands-on repairs on equipment and common areas.

The role requires at least 3 years of multifamily maintenance experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of regulatory standards. Weekend coverage and rotating on-call are part of the schedule, with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage staff and daily operations.
• Strong understanding of state lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and the Property Code.
• Proficient in property management software (OneSite and/or Yardi) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Required CPO & HVAC certifications.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, including weekends, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: manage inventories, ensure safety, and maintain grounds.
• Leadership & Training: supervise maintenance staff and conduct safety meetings.
• Maintenance Coordination: schedule work orders and on-call rotations.
• Resident Relations: respond to concerns and maintain high resident satisfaction.
• Compliance & Reporting: maintain records and ensure licensing/safety compliance.
