Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for an on-site multifamily community. You will oversee daily maintenance, mentor staff, and coordinate with the Property Manager to maintain safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in multifamily maintenance, strong leadership, and experience with OneSite/Yardi. Expect on-site duties, weekend availability, and on-call rotations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or related field.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills to manage staff and daily operations.
• Strong understanding of lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and Property Code.
• Proficient in property management software (OneSite, Yardi) and MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations and manage inventory, ensuring tools and supplies are well stocked and functional.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a safety-first culture and conducting regular safety meetings.
• Coordinate with property manager and vendors to schedule preventive maintenance and respond to service requests.
• Maintain property maintenance budget awareness and obtain approvals for major expenses.
• Ensure 24/7 on-call rotations and 24-hour response to urgent resident service requests.
• Maintain compliance with licensing and safety regulations and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
