Job summary

Cepheid in Lodi, CA seeks a Lead Automation Engineering Technician to drive engineering experiments and process development for new product introductions and improvements. The role is on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment within Danaher’s Cepheid division.

You will collaborate with raw material supply, manufacturing, and test engineering to validate equipment and processes, analyze results, and suggest improvements to procedures and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting engineering experiments, process development, and validation activities.
• Ability to analyze results and propose process improvements.
• Experience operating automated manufacturing equipment in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering experiments, process development activities, and validation studies for new products.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, materials, and test engineering.
• Document findings and recommend equipment performance improvements.
