Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an on-site EHS Engineer in Lodi, CA to implement and sustain Environmental, Health, and Safety programs ensuring regulatory compliance and injury prevention.

You will partner with site leaders, drive risk assessments, lead investigations, and advance training focused on hazard control and emergency readiness. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in EHS or related field
• Working knowledge of Federal, state, and local EHS requirements
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, assess risk, and implement corrective actions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis; MS Word and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain site EHS compliance programs and management systems
• Assess workplace risks, monitor exposures, develop corrective actions
• Lead or support EHS projects, inspections, investigations, and training
• Interpret EHS requirements; conduct regulatory audits; deliver site safety training
• Support environmental and sustainability programs and metrics
