Job summary

Cross Creek Landscape Design + Build is seeking a Landscape Construction Foreman to lead our North Idaho crews in turning meticulously designed spaces into durable outdoor realities.

You will operate excavators, skid steers, and dozers on active sites, supervise a crew, maintain schedules and budgets, troubleshoot problems, and ensure every project meets Cross Creek’s high quality standards and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading a crew and operating heavy equipment on landscape or construction sites.
• Hands-on experience with hardscape construction, including retaining walls and paver installation.
• Experience with water feature installation — bubblers, waterfalls, ponds, or similar.
• Working knowledge of landscape lighting systems and installation.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• A real driver — someone who takes ownership of a job site and doesn’t need to be chased for results.

Responsibilities

• Operate and direct the use of excavators, skid steers, and dozers on active job sites.
• Lead the build-out of hardscape features to Cross Creek’s quality standard.
• Oversee installation of water features, including bubblers, ponds, and custom waterfalls.
• Install and troubleshoot landscape lighting systems, working with the suppliers we use across the region.
• Keep projects on schedule and on budget, flagging risks to ownership before they become problems.
• Manage and mentor crew members on-site, setting the pace and the standard.
• Communicate daily progress and any site issues to the project manager and ownership.
