Mosaic Diagnostics is seeking a Laboratory Support Specialist for the Specimen Receiving department. The role involves receiving and logging specimens, aliquoting and labeling for processing, and ensuring accurate data entry and inventory control in LIMS.

Level I–III responsibilities expand with experience, including troubleshooting, interdepartmental communication, and potential shift staffing support, while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifikationen

• HS diploma or equivalent; biology background preferred.
• Medical terminology is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent basic communication skills.
• Able to be punctual and flexible with shifts.
• Computer data entry experience is recommended.

Aufgaben

• Receive, log, and accession incoming specimens.
• Open and prepare clinical packs for processing.
• Aliquot and label specimens per SOP.
• Enter patient order data into the Portal.
• Inventory samples in LIMS and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist with troubleshooting and coordinate with department Lead.
