Job summary

ADM is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Decatur, IL. The role ensures product integrity through testing in the manufacturing process and release, following SOPs and standardized procedures. You will contribute to the Quality Team and uphold food safety culture through routine laboratory work.

The position requires basic math, English proficiency, and ability to operate in a team across departments. Some tasks may involve standing and lifting, with safety training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read/write/speak English.
• Must be able to do basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify ADM core values in daily activities.
• Adhere to GMP, GLP, and HACCP requirements.
• Pass all required laboratory training.
• Follow SOPs accurately and efficiently.
• Record, interpret and enter test results in forms and LIMS with accuracy.
• Perform analytical and sensory tests on products.
• Identify data inconsistencies and report promptly.
• Receive, handle and store samples per SOP.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot problems.
