Job summary

ADM in Decatur, IL is seeking a Laboratory Technician to ensure product integrity in the manufacturing process. The role requires performing tests on samples per SOPs and reporting results to the Quality Team.

The candidate must adhere to GMP/GLP and HACCP standards and be able to work with minimal supervision. The position is non-exempt, with responsibilities across testing, data entry, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read/write/speak English and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must write clearly and communicate professionally.
• Must work on multiple tasks and stay organized.
• Experience with laboratory terminology and safety practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity of product through testing and data recording.
• Perform analytical and sensory tests per SOPs with accuracy.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Follow GMP/GLP and HACCP requirements and document results.
• Train colleagues and participate in quality initiatives.
