Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Lab Sample Coordinator in New Jersey to manage receipt, storage and destruction of preclinical and clinical samples. You’ll triage shipments, support study timelines, and maintain databases like Watson LIMS, POLARIS, LabMatrix, and REES while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree, 2–3 years’ experience with biological samples, and are comfortable with LN2 and radioactive material handling.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field.
• 2-3 years of experience handling preclinical and clinical samples.
• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work with LN2.
• Work safely with radioactive materials and handle/shipping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sample receipt and QC, triaging shipments to departments/vendors.
• Triage shipments to support clinical and preclinical trial timelines.
• Freezer defrosting, cleaning, destruction of samples, and inventory return.
• Coordinate with Azenta On-site leadership to anticipate customer needs.
• Database entry into Watson LIMS, POLARIS, LabMatrix, REES to support operations.
• Assist with issue resolution and tracking of sample and manifest problems.
