Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is seeking a Lab Technician focused on Sample Management and Environmental Monitoring Support. This full-time role in North Brunswick, NJ includes responsibility for coordinating sample receipt, logging, tracking, distribution, and EM support, with about 75% sample coordination and 25% EM tasks.

The position requires 1–3 years in a lab setting, an associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work at a client site.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory testing environment.
• Associate’s degree in scientific discipline (Bachelor’s preferred) or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation as offsite travel is required for this role.
• Ability to apply knowledge of GMP and GLP daily.
• Aseptic and relevant microbiological techniques.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming product samples, verifying accuracy against client submission forms and identifying discrepancies.
• Accurately log and categorize samples in the sample logbook and create sample acknowledgement forms.
• Assist with transition from logbook to electronic LIMS system for receipt and tracking of samples.
• Organize and store samples securely and retrieve samples for internal distribution.
• Communicate with clients regarding sample receipt and issues.
• Support Environmental Monitoring as needed in cleanroom environments within Manufacturing area at Client’s site.
• Operate monitoring equipment (Laser Particle Counter, Viable Air Sampler, Microscope, pH meter).
• Read EM data and document results on forms.
• Participate in validation/verification of controlled environments such as cleanrooms.
• Record test results on documents.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Drive own car for off-site work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
