Job summary

Dallas College is seeking a staff member to provide direct tutorial and instructional lab support to students and laboratory personnel in an instructionally supervised laboratory on campus. Positions are on-site with potential for hybrid work after six months based on policy and responsibilities.

The role requires strong lab knowledge, ability to document results, and effective customer service skills to support students and faculty throughout the lab environment.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of laboratory and lab information systems and automated laboratory equipment.
• Ability to access data, maintain records, generate reports using computer technology.
• Able to teach in instructional settings including non-credit/non‑transferable courses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory experiments/exercises to demonstrate learning experiences.
• Assist in supervision of lab activities to ensure a safe learning environment.
• Provide clerical support: ordering, cataloging, maintaining supplies/equipment.
