Job summary

Children's Health in Dallas, TX seeks an Organ Transplant Coordinator for the Kidney Transplant Team. This role coordinates medical and psychosocial activities surrounding transplantation, supporting the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

The position requires an RN with a BSN, active Texas license, BLS, and CCTC certification within 24 months. You will handle education, on-call coverage, and waiting list coordination, with a focus on quality and patient-family

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license required.
• BSN in Nursing is required.
• BLS certification required; CCTC certification within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical and psychosocial activities for transplant patients.
• Assist physicians and manage care plans and patient education.
• Maintain transplant waiting list and liaise with organ procurement organizations.
• Provide on-call coverage and cross-train for direct patient care.
• Engage in interdisciplinary programs and quality improvement activities.
