Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• MSN preferred for advanced leadership and clinical knowledge.
• 2 years of related experience or training.
• 5 years RN experience with critical care and transplant coordination.
• California RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• CCTC certification within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to manage all stages of transplant patient care.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Transplant Coordinators and oversee daily workflows.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (UNOS, CMS, OPTN).
• Manage staffing, schedules, and performance mentoring.
• Lead complex clinical decision making and guide coordinators.
• Support quality improvement and interdisciplinary communication.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager for program growth and continuity.
• Coordinate donor/recipient care across phases of transplant.
