Qualifications

• Must possess a current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience.
• Foundational understanding of systems engineering principles and familiarity with Digital Engineering (DE)/Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Basic understanding of data concepts and technologies such as relational databases, ontology, UAF or SysML.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced systems engineering staff under supervision with Digital Engineering (DE) processes and methods for enterprise-wide adoption based on industry best practices and trends.
• Apply MBSE processes and methods including MBSE, digital thread framework, model portfolio development, model quality and review processes, and DE-based data item descriptions.
• Support MBSE practitioners and help modernize systems engineering and acquisition using MBSE.
• Deliver foundational DE approaches ensuring that engineering and MS&A processes are met.
• Assist technical teams and leadership in implementing MBSE methods and techniques.
• Develop and support enterprise-level digital engineering approaches to ensure models, data, and information are accessible and interconnected.
• Ensure that SOW-required SE and MS&A processes are followed.
• Support federated modeling across the enterprise and partners.
• Adhere to MBSE guidelines and communicate modeling concepts to stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate modeling concepts and best practices to stakeholders at varying levels.
