Job summary

Turner Staffing Group is seeking an on-site IT Service Desk Technician to support a large-scale technology initiative in Elko, Nevada. The role focuses on hardware deployment, imaging PCs, and providing direct end-user support in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The position is a 12-month, project-based assignment with competitive pay, per diem and mileage, and a strong emphasis on customer service and hands-on technical tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of PC Technician experience in a business or enterprise networking environment.
• Strong working knowledge of desktop hardware, imaging, and troubleshooting.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be located within 8 hours of Elko, NV.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, and image desktop and laptop computers
• Perform daily maintenance tasks, including remediating broken or malfunctioning client devices
• Install, configure, and support desktop software systems
• Provide onsite technical support to end users
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
• Perform additional IT support duties as assigned
