Turner Staffing Group is seeking an on-site, project-based IT Project Manager in the Elko, NV area to support complex IT initiatives. The role entails advanced project controls, financial analysis, planning, governance, and execution across multiple workstreams.

The ideal candidate will manage schedules, budgets, risks, and KPIs while coordinating with stakeholders and vendors in a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with IT project management and project controls.
• Proficient in scheduling, forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Skilled in project financial analysis and cost controls.
• Strong ability to manage risks, issues, dependencies, and changes.
• Experience delivering executive-level reporting and KPI development.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and vendors.
• Knowledge of project governance and structured management practices.
• Capacity to juggle multiple priorities in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, forecasts, budgets, and resource plans.
• Perform project financial analysis, including budget-to-actual variance analysis, forecasting, accruals, commitments, and cost projections.
• Monitor project performance and proactively identify schedule, cost, resource, and delivery risks.
• Own and facilitate RAID management across assigned projects and programs.
• Develop executive-level dashboards, project status reports, KPIs, and portfolio reporting.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple projects, technical teams, vendors, and business groups.
• Lead project governance activities and support compliance with established project management standards.
• Facilitate project planning sessions, risk reviews, status meetings, and stakeholder meetings.
• Manage change requests and evaluate their impact on schedule, cost, resources, and scope.
• Support annual project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio prioritization.
• Independently lead smaller or moderately complex projects and workstreams as assigned.
• Support procurement, contract management, vendor performance, and project financial controls.
• Provide project information, reporting, and analysis to IT project leadership.
• Assist Project Managers in developing recovery plans for projects that are behind schedule or over budget.
