Job summary

Three Bears Alaska, Inc. is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to maintain servers, Microsoft 365, backups, licenses, and Windows workstations. This hands-on role includes hardware troubleshooting and direct support for store and office staff from our Wasilla, AK location.

Reporting to the IT Director, you’ll work in a collaborative environment with a focus on practical problem solving. Some store travel and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; approx two years IT experience.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and business apps; able to install and troubleshoot.
• Understanding of networking basics and security practices.
• Ability to diagnose problems, document work, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain servers, virtual environments, and apps; monitor performance and logs.
• Manage Microsoft 365, email, directory services; provision and deactivation of accounts.
• Monitor backups, test restores, and ensure data integrity.
• Implement security controls, updates, and endpoint protection; report incidents.
• Handle trouble tickets; communicate status and solutions to users.
• Collaborate with IT team; document changes and escalate major risks.
• Maintain asset records, licenses, and support documentation.
• Assist with store tech, printers, POS, and telephony; travel to stores as needed.
• Occasionally work after hours for outages or maintenance.
