Job summary

AEITS Inc., a GTSC company, seeks System Administrators (Level I, II, or III) to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems in an on-site Hanover, MD environment. Active Top Secret SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Level placement will be based on experience, technical expertise, and demonstrated capabilities. Responsibilites include managing system operations, supporting users, and ensuring reliability, performance, and security of enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Windows and/or UNIX/Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage daily operations of systems including servers, storage, and network devices.
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
• Perform system configuration, patching, and upgrades for Windows and/or UNIX/Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and provide timely resolution.
• Support users in accessing and utilizing IT systems.
• Document system configurations, processes, and issue resolutions.
• Support escalation processes and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Maintain system security and compliance with organizational standards.
