Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, configure, and operate computer systems, servers and virtualization
• Install and upgrade components and software; manage virtual servers and automation
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; document problems and resolutions
• Provide documentation and technical specs for planning new IT infrastructure or upgrades
• Perform backups and implement data protection, disaster recovery and failover procedures
• Lead desktop and helpdesk support to minimize disruptions and ensure timely resolutions
• Manage capacity, storage planning and database performance
• Maintain inventory of computing equipment and status
• Ensure workplace confidentiality and security of assets
• Provide reports and logs for management
• Safe working practices and adherence to policies and guidelines
• Meet deadlines for computing set-ups and repairs
• Support guests and team members with IT issues at OWA
