Job summary

VTG is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure in a security‑driven environment. You will install, configure, and maintain servers, monitor performance and security, and manage access controls across environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of systems administration experience, strong Windows/Linux skills, virtualization expertise (VMware/Hyper‑V), and proficiency in scripting to automate tasks.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or IT operations.
• Strong experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
• Experience with system monitoring tools and log management.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (Active Directory, IAM).
• Perform system patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems comply with security policies and regulatory requirements.
