Job summary

Empower AI is seeking a Site SA Assistant in the Washington, DC area to provide on-site systems administration for DoS environments, ensuring hardware and applications run securely and efficiently.

You will work with the SA lead to manage installations, patches, backups, incident tracking, and documentation; enforce security controls and DoS compliance; maintain site topology diagrams and comprehensive tech documentation. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant IT or SA support experience.
• Associate's degree or equivalent.
• Secret Security Clearance.
• CompTIA A+, Sec+, ITIL 4 Foundation are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation, maintenance, and proactive monitoring of hardware and applications.
• Administer AD and configuration management tools; oversee patches and security controls.
• Log and resolve incidents in the ticket system and document configuration changes.
• Maintain site topology diagrams and technical documentation.
