Job summary

Empower AI is seeking a Site Systems Administrator (SA) Assistant to provide on-site SA services to DoS offices across the United States. You will manage hardware, systems, and applications, enforce DoS security policies, and coordinate backups, upgrades, and incident resolution.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, an Associate's degree, and a Secret Security Clearance. A DoD-centric environment is expected with travel ~10%.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience required
• Associate's or equivalent required
• Secret Security Clearance required
• Preferred: CompTIA A+, Sec+, ITIL 4 Foundation Certification(s)

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site Site Systems Administration (SA) services to DoS offices across the United States.
• Manage installation, maintenance, and monitoring of hardware and applications (AD, SCCM/PS, Travel Document Issuance System, etc.).
• Manage security patches, VIBs, and database instances (Oracle/SQL).
• Enforce DoS security policies including AD administration and remediation.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability and data backups; coordinate upgrades and retirements.
• Log, manage, and resolve incidents in the ticket system (Service Now).
• Maintain site topology diagrams, configurations, and documentation.
