Job summary

Fourth seeks an IT Systems Administrator to be the sole on-site IT resource for its Denver office, supporting about 40 employees. You will own an Access front-end (VBA) backed by SQL Server, perform code changes, and manage source control, roles, and integrations with CRM and e-commerce systems.

The role combines hands-on development with local systems administration—VMware, backups, AD, and coordination with Corporate IT—while growing IT documentation and user support.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience building or maintaining applications in Microsoft Access with VBA.
• Strong SQL Server skills including writing queries and stored procedures.
• Experience as sole/primary on-site IT resource and able to triage independently.
• Familiarity with VMware administration and Windows AD management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the core Access front-end against a SQL Server back-end.
• Develop in a local dev environment, test, and roll out changes via internal processes.
• Work within source control and review historical changes for troubleshooting.
• Manage role-based variants and keep them in sync as changes roll out.
• Support integrations with CRM, payments, tax, and e-commerce systems.
• Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and basic schema changes.
• Administer local user accounts and Windows security groups.
• Manage on-site VMware, backups, and hardware/printer escalation.
• Coordinate with corporate IT on network, security, and Azure while owning local issues.
• Maintain IT documentation and serve as the Denver office escalation point.
