Job summary

Ford Office Technologies is seeking a dependable Tier 1 IT Support Technician to provide hands-on support at a client site about 20 minutes from the Gibsonia/Allison Park area. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

The position covers hardware, software, and operating systems support, including printers, scanners, smart boards, and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical school equivalent in a related field.
• 1–2 years helpdesk experience preferred or related internship.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP and basic networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up new user accounts and handle password issues.
• Support training and rollout of new applications.
• Troubleshoot/repair printers and scanners.
• Set up and work with smart boards.
• Chromebook repair and device maintenance as needed.
• Utilize Google Suite for daily tasks and collaboration.
• Answer basic questions about installation, operation, and configuration of network devices.
• Rectify customer issues promptly and maintain clear communication with customers and team.
• Escalate complex problems when required.
• Prioritize and manage multiple open cases in the ticketing system.
• Work on assigned projects as needed.
