Job summary

Amentum is seeking an IT Support Technician to support our DHS customer at regional CONUS and OCONUS facilities in Camarillo, CA. This temporary, full-time position is expected to last through January 2027.

You will provide Tier 2 IT help desk support, troubleshooting hardware and software, and delivering video conferencing and remote support. Experience with Windows, AD, data encryption, and backup software is essential, along with strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1+ year IT help desk experience (or 3+ years with HS diploma).
• Experience with Windows 11 and Office 365, including Teams.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide LAN administrator support with installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices and servers.
• Support network-attached devices (printers, biometric devices, sensors) and mobile/wireless devices.
• Apply security patches, maintain system health, and conduct restore testing.
