Job summary

Humane Society Pikes Peak Region is seeking an IT Support Specialist Tier I to serve staff and volunteers across multiple locations. You will handle routine IT issues, deploy devices, and maintain documentation to support animal care and community services.

The role focuses on reliable tech systems, onboarding/offboarding assistance, and collaborating with Tier II and IT leadership to resolve escalations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Experience providing help desk or technical support, with demonstrated ability to resolve issues and follow established procedures.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, printers and common peripheral devices.
• Basic understanding of network connectivity, user accounts, and standard troubleshooting methods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, categorize, and prioritize service requests; troubleshoot and keep users informed.
• Resolve routine Windows, Microsoft 365, printing, device connectivity, and application issues with approved steps.
• Complete identity verification, password resets, and standard account requests.
• Escalate unresolved, recurring, security-related, or widespread issues with relevant evidence.
• Prepare and deploy computers using approved images; install authorized software and verify operation.
• Set up and replace scanners, tablets, phones, printers, and VoIP devices; maintain cable management.
