This entry-level role offers hands-on IT experience in a corporate environment, supporting desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and standard applications. On-site work is required with potential after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 0-2 years of IT support or help desk experience.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Office apps).
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and operating system issues (Windows/macOS).
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and standard applications.
• Respond to IT support requests via ticketing system, phone, and in person.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier II or III support as needed.
• Assist with user account management (password resets, access requests, MFA support).
• Support basic network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, Ethernet).
• Perform equipment setup, moves, adds, and changes (MACs).
• Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures in the ticketing system.
• Follow IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to all users.
