Job summary

IPG Photonics in Oxford, MA is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join our IT team in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. You will provide technical assistance for computer systems, hardware, and software, with emphasis on executive support and incident resolution.

The role includes on-site duties in Oxford, MA, potential travel to Marlborough, MA, and infrequent trips to Salem, NH, with after-hours rotation as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required or equivalent.
• 3+ years Microsoft Windows support experience.
• 3+ years Microsoft Office support experience.
• 3+ years Active Directory support experience.
• 3+ years supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• User management experience in Active Directory and Exchange Servers.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiar with ITSM/ITIL.
• SCCM experience a plus.
• Manufacturing environment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level and general IT support to users in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with day-to-day IT operations and technical issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and coordinate with vendors when needed.
• Manage tickets through the helpdesk system and escalate when required.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support IT needs.
• Support remote site needs and participate in on-call rotation as required.
• Maintain room and device readiness for meetings and deployments.
• Image computes to IPG standard deployment procedures.
