Job summary

Big Think is seeking an IT Manager to be the primary IT contact for a 100+ person distributed workforce in Washington, DC. This on-site role covers help desk, onboarding/offboarding, SaaS administration, and infrastructure management.

You will oversee on-prem and cloud storage, backups, and hardware lifecycles, while coordinating with leadership on tech strategy. A minimum of 5 years in IT and strong macOS/Windows skills are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of IT experience.
• Ability to be present in Washington, DC office Mon–Fri 9:00am–6:00pm ET.
• Advanced proficiency in macOS, Windows; Linux a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary IT help desk contact for 100+ distributed staff.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding: provisioning, accounts, hardware shipping/return.
• Administer SaaS apps including Slack, Google Workspace, Adobe, ClickUp.
• Manage media asset infrastructure, on-prem and cloud storage, backups.
