Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Must be able to work various shift schedules, including occasional after-hours.
• Highly self-motivated and able to work independently as the on-site extension of IT teams.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with plant leadership and Maintenance personnel.
• Strong customer service orientation with ownership and follow-through.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical personnel; translate info to team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site 'remote hands' and eyes for the broader IT department; perform hands-on tasks and diagnostics at IT-owned panels.
• Identify, triage, and help resolve issues on IT-supported shop-floor manufacturing systems and devices.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with plant leadership and Maintenance; conduct floor reviews.
• Provide on-site end-user, plant, and application support via desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity.
• Install, deploy, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and inventory IT hardware; perform asset audits.
• Create and maintain site documentation, SOPs, and inventory records for ongoing operations.
• Participate in technology projects, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure deployments as on-site support.
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.
