Job summary

Writopia Lab, an award‑winning nonprofit in New York, seeks an IT & Facilities Associate to support IT needs and office operations across our Upper West Side and Brooklyn spaces. You will manage devices, assist workshops, and help maintain labs and camp logistics.

This in‑person role covers tech support, equipment setup, and on‑site facilities tasks, with travel to partner sites for program operations. Join a mission driven, youth‑focused organization.

Qualifications

• At least two years of work experience in IT, facilities, or office support.
• Ability to be flexible, proactive, and collaborative across teams.
• Experience supporting IT, devices, and office operations in a school/nonprofit setting.
• Valid driver’s license and comfort with driving in the NYC metro area.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure and office spaces.
• Provide IT support during workshops and events; onboard new hires with tech needs.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and supplies for offices and labs.
• Assist in planning and transporting camp materials for sleepaway programs.
• Travel between labs in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Westchester as needed.
