Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an experienced FSR ISSO to be embedded on-site with U.S. Government customers.

You will lead security and compliance for a production-grade platform, working with engineers, operators, and customer security teams to ensure robust protection across cloud and on-prem environments. The role requires hands-on accreditation work, documentation of SSPs and POA&Ms, and coordination through RMF/DIACAP processes.

Qualifications

• Background in systems administration or security engineering for gov systems.
• Experience accrediting IT systems to NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and DISA STIGs.
• Hands-on work with eMASS or Xacta for accreditation activities.
• Ability to implement and validate security configurations with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site security and compliance contact for government customers.
• Support accreditation activities using RMF or DIACAP and coordinate artifacts.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure security controls and policies are implemented.
• Maintain documentation such as SSPs, POA&Ms, control narratives, and evidence.
• Assist with audits, assessments, and ongoing system lifecycle compliance.
