Job summary

CGS Federal, a leading government services provider, seeks a Mid-Level FSR ISSO to be embedded on-site with U.S. Government customers.

You will serve as the primary authority for system security and compliance, working hands-on with live systems and coordinating with engineers, operators, and customer security teams. Qualifications

• Experience accrediting IT systems to U.S. Government standards such as NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and DISA STIGs.
• Hands-on accreditation work using eMASS or Xacta.
• Ability to implement and validate security configurations with engineering teams.
• Experience with both cloud (AWS) and on-prem environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for security and compliance with government customers.
• Support accreditation activities using RMF/DIACAP frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure security controls and configurations are properly implemented.
• Analyze deployments to verify compliance with security requirements.
• Create and maintain security documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms, control narratives).
• Generate and organize evidence of compliance and assemble artifacts for audits.
