Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an on-site FSR ISSO embedded with U.S. Government customers to ensure secure, compliant operation of a production-grade data and application platform in mission-critical environments.

You will serve as the primary authority for system security and compliance, working hands-on with live systems and coordinating with engineers, operators, and customer security teams to implement RMF and DIACAP controls and maintain accreditation artifacts.

Qualifications

• Background in systems administration or software development with Linux systems.
• Experience accrediting IT systems to U.S. Government standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-53).
• Hands-on accrediation using eMASS or Xacta.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams to implement security configurations.
• Ability to document security controls and produce audit artifacts.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance or Eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site point of contact for security and compliance across government customers.
• Support system accreditation activities using RMF or DIACAP.
• Collaborate with software, systems, and field engineers to implement controls.
• Analyze deployments and ensure alignment with security requirements.
• Maintain security documentation and evidence (SSPs, POA&Ms).
• Support audits and ongoing compliance throughout the lifecycle.
