Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting, discrepancy research, ERP reconciliation, and data analysis using Excel and Power BI. The role involves hands-on work in warehouse and production areas, collaboration with multiple departments, and leading the year-end inventory process.

The position is on-site in Green Bay, WI, reporting to the Business Systems & Analytics Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of manufacturing experience preferred, particularly in warehouse, production, inventory control, or related area.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred but not required.
• General computer skills and ability to enter and review information accurately in an ERP system.
• Experience with Business Central or another ERP is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate inventory records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments to investigate and resolve inventory issues.
• Ability to travel between company locations, including quarterly travel to Prior Lake, Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts of assigned inventory across facilities, maintaining warehouse/production area counts.
• Research inventory discrepancies by reviewing physical counts and ERP transactions.
• Lead year-end physical inventory process and related reconciliation.
• Use Business Central, Excel, Power BI to monitor inventory accuracy and trends.
• Create and maintain procedures for cycle counting, discrepancy research, and inventory adjustments.
• Assist with employee training and guidance on inventory procedures and ERP transactions.
