Colonial Group is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse efficiency. You will monitor stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure proper storage, labeling, and accountability of products.

The role includes handling non-conforming items, damaged goods, and quality holds in compliance with internal protocols. The position requires forklift experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple inventory items and priorities simultaneously.
• Skilled in identifying discrepancies and solving problems through logical reasoning.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team coordination.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Excel, Word) and adaptability to learn warehouse systems.
• Understanding of FIFO, cycle counting, and stock rotation.

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock levels and locations.
• Input and maintain inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Prepare documentation for inventory transactions and adjustments.
• Assist with receiving shipments, verify counts, and update records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment with proper labeling and placement.
• Identify inventory issues and propose process improvements for accuracy.
• Perform audits of products and locations to resolve inconsistencies.
• Conduct root cause analyses for recurring inventory issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Support initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Trace and resolve inventory discrepancies using system tools to ensure correct stock status.
• Manage the damaged goods process with proper documentation and disposition.
• Identify quality-hold items and document approved dispositions.
• Execute inventory transfers to support production and fulfillment.
• Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned.
• Safely operate forklifts and other equipment.
