Job summary

Trane Technologies in Delphos, Ohio is hiring an installation technician to join our team. You will install Thermo King Tripac APUs and single-temp trailer units, maintain clean and organized installations, and coordinate on-site work with managers. The role supports growth into service tech positions.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical/electrical/system knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. Overtime and forklift operation may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical, transport refrigeration, and/or electrical systems.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean record for at least 12 months.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install Thermo King Tripac APUs and single-temp trailer units.
• Maintain clean, reliable installations and organize inventory.
• Coordinate on-site work with managers and prepare for future installations.
• Support knowledge-building and help develop installers into service techs.
