Job summary

Trane Technologies in Delphos, Ohio is hiring an installation technician to join our team. You will install Thermo King Tripac APUs and single-temp trailer units, maintain clean and organized installations, and coordinate on-site work with managers. The role supports growth into service tech positions.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic mechanical/electrical/system knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. Overtime and forklift operation may be required.

• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean record for at least 12 months.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Role Summary

Thermo King is hiring an installation technician to join our organization in Delphos, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for installed Thermo King Tripac Apu’s and Thermo King single temp trailer units.

What you will do

• Maintaining a clean and reliable installation.
• Assist in scheduling, organizing inventory.
• Maintain a clean efficient workspace.
• Work with Managers to prepare for future installations, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
• We always work towards building Knowledge.
• Our goal is to grow our installers into service techs.

What you will bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, transport refrigeration, and/or electrical systems.
• Experiences may include Diesel engines; Heavy equipment repair; or Light duty mechanics.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle or free objects.
• Use computers for web-based training and work order system.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Ability to retain knowledge of standard operating procedures and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving.

Compensation

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $18.09 - $31.65. Compensation Type: Hourly. Incentive Eligible: No. Sales Commission Eligible: No.
