Job summary

Equipment Depot, Inc. seeks an on-site technician to diagnose and repair electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial/ construction equipment. You will read work orders, inspect units, perform repairs, document parts and serials, and communicate with customers about outcomes.

The role requires basic math, safe operating procedures, and a valid driver's license. You will represent the company professionally and coordinate with service management for scheduling.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience: 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Computer: Knowledge of internet software.
• Certificates & Licenses: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Language: Ability to read/interpret safety rules, manuals; write reports; speak to groups.

Responsibilities

• Reads work order and observes truck operation to diagnose problems.
• Makes mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis.
• Records repair details on work orders with model and serial numbers.
• Communicates with customers about repair needs and completed work.
• Performs safety checks on guards, bolts, and devices; conducts adjustments.
• Lubricates moving parts and verifies repairs by test drive.
• Represents Equipment Depot professionally and maintains van cleanliness.
• Tracks service scheduling and time cards; reports to service coordinator.
